Not enough good things to say. Food 10/10 makes you feel like you traveled back to Mexico. The use of traditional & seasonal ingredients
Service is a little slow but at least we didn't feel rushed. Basically making my way through the menu. The ceviche menu is a great well rounded one. Everything unique and fresh. Interior and ambiance are very bright and colorful. Not dressy, very casual. Kid and service dog friendly.
Ceviche sinaloense is my go to here. Favorite and rare dining experience in El Monte. Our server Brenda was so sweet and personable
Just finished eating here. What an incredible service! Don't even get me started on the environment and the food. Brenda and Adrian are incredible at their job! They even gave us their coin toss promotion where we won 40% off our food!
Drinks and food 10/10. The staff was so nice and attentive. I got the tacos gobernador, ceviche and just the salsa and chips are so good. Their happy hour is from 11-8pm. I went on a Friday with coworkers so I'm not sure if it's just weekdays or weekends as well but the happy hour had a selection of food and drinks for a great price! Coming back for sure

Xecora, a truly authentic and surreal experience. A true testament, a beautifully written love letter, to what makes Mexican Gastronomy. I dined here with my significant other and the only complaint is that I did not make it to brunch.
I had the Carne Asada plate, a wonderful spread that included delicious refried beans with a generous amount of Queso Fresco. Accompanied by delicious hand made tortillas. I would definitely recommend ordering this and any of their Seafood plates/tacos.
Ambiance was modern, but it had a lot of touches that reminded me of Mexico. From the non painted walls by the bar, to the dimly lit dining area. A true place for a romantic rendezvous with a potential partner.
The bartender Angel, I can't really come up with the words to describe him. A fun and energetic bartender that knows his craft. I always enjoy a great seat by the bar and he made my experience a true welcome. Ask for him. Be kind. Tip well.
first time being here food and drinks are amazing! highly recommend carne asada , Horchata and michelada!! bomb. also angel our bartender/ service gave the BEST service! so friendly Fun and recommended great options :)!
This place is pretty cool! I came here on a Tuesday night and it was pretty quiet and low key but the ambiance was amazing. The decor pops out, drinks are delicious, service was friendly, and the food was great! They also have plenty of parking on their lot.
Happy hour was until 8pm so drinks and some of the appetizers were a bit cheaper. Aside from that the whole menu is a bit on the pricier side.
The food:
Ceviche - Agasajo ($15 for the small) - this is the classic shrimp and octopus ceviche. I liked this dish since they had actual octopus and it was an overall very refreshing dish with a slight kick of spiciness.
Marlin Tacos - These were hands down so delicious! It was party of the happy hour menu so I forgot the price of this but I would 10/10 recommend this (this was also one of the items that the waiter recommended to us).
Carne Asada ($15?) - These were bite size pieces of carne asada that had a a thin slice of jalapeño? or chile on top. Also very delicious!
Next were all the drinks:
Happy hour means 2 for $10 margaritas! These were perfectly made although I didn't taste much of the alcohol. I also had a basil drink which was also delicious but I don't remember the name of the drink. Lastly, I had a lemon drop with a shot. All drinks were well made and yummy!
Also, remember to check in for a free agua fresca! I got the cucumber one and it was so refreshing!
Meals come with chips and some salsa to start!
I would probably come back here again if I were on a date or just looking for a good time with all the drink selections!
Normally not a yelper but I have to say this place is the moment great food, great music, and tasty drinks. Came in Sunday with my family and we can be more exalted to be back
